GlowBite
Glowbite/Sourcing

Where every
active begins.

Seven actives, seven supply chains. We tell you exactly where each one comes from, who supplies it, and what certifications we require. If it's opaque, we don't buy it.

Our standards

One chain of custody,
every lot.

Glowbite is produced in a single FDA-registered, cGMP-certified facility. One facility means one chain of custody, one audit cycle, and one team of humans we know by name — plus small-batch runs so every pouch is traceable to the lot it came from.

Certifications
FDA Registered · cGMP · HACCP · USDA Organic
Lot size
Small-batch (≤ 50k pouches) to control retention + QA
Retention samples
Kept for 2× expiry period for every lot

Every raw-material supplier audited annually
A Glowbite pouch unboxed on a marble surface — open gift box, fresh citrus slices, loose gummies, a small gold mirror, and greenery styled around it

Ingredient origins

Seven ingredients,
seven receipts.

i.
Hawaii & Iceland

Astaxanthin

Natural · vegan
Supplier
Algae cultivator (AstaReal® partner-grade)

Cultivated from Haematococcus pluvialis microalgae in closed-loop photobioreactors. We chose the microalgae form specifically because it's vegan and avoids the krill-oil supply chain, which has ocean-sustainability issues.

ii.
Italy & California

Lycopene

Natural · non-GMO
Supplier
Non-GMO tomato extract supplier

Extracted from vine-ripened, non-GMO tomatoes using a supercritical CO₂ process. No hexane, no ethanol residues.

iii.
Australia & Spain

Beta carotene (Vitamin A)

Natural · plant-sourced
Supplier
Dunaliella salina micro-algae cultivator

Provitamin A from salt-tolerant microalgae grown in open saline ponds — a well-established, sustainable natural source.

iv.
Iceland

Vitamin D3

Vegan
Supplier
Vitashine®-grade lichen cultivator

Lichen-sourced cholecalciferol. Unlike the lanolin-derived D3 on most supplement shelves, this one is vegan-certified.

v.
Scotland

Non-GMO
Supplier
Fermentation-based L-ascorbic acid (DSM-grade)

Produced via fermentation from non-GMO corn starch. Non-GMO Project Verified raw material.

vi.

USP grade
Supplier
USP-grade pharmaceutical supplier

Synthesized to USP pharmaceutical-grade standards. The non-flushing form of B3.

Pharmaceutical-grade mineral supplier

Zinc citrate chosen for its bioavailability and tolerability compared to zinc oxide.

From raw material to pouch

Six-step
process.

i.

Raw materials arrive

Every shipment comes with a supplier Certificate of Analysis. We cross-check identity and potency on receipt, not trust.

ii.

Formulation & weigh-out

Two operators, double-check. Every gram of every active is logged against the lot record.

iii.

Cooking & depositing

Pectin (not gelatin) plus organic cane and tapioca syrup. Cooked under nitrogen to protect the carotenoids from oxidation, then deposited into molds.

iv.

Curing & coating

Gummies cure for 24–48 hours, then receive a light coating of organic carnauba wax + sunflower oil to prevent clumping.

v.

Blind QA sampling

Every lot is sampled at the start, middle, and end of the run, and shipped to independent labs (see Safety page).

vi.

Hold-and-release

The lot is quarantined until all test results come back clean. Only then does it get packaged, palletized, and shipped.

The supplier bar

Three things every supplier
has to clear.

i.

Independent testing

Every supplier shares a CoA, and we retest on receipt.

ii.

Audit cadence

On-site or virtual audit every 12 months. Failed audit means dropped supplier.

iii.

Sustainability & ethics

USDA Organic where possible. Fair-labor compliance required everywhere.
